Brow Lamination AfterCare

Your freshly laminated brows need a little TLC to keep them looking soft, healthy, and beautifully styled.  Follow these simple steps to protect your results and keep your brow hairs conditioned between appointments.

The First 24-48 Hours
For best results:
-Keep your brows away from excessive moisture, steam, and heat
-Avoid saunas, steam rooms, and very hot showers
-Avoid swimming and excessive sweating
-Do not rub, scrub, or exfoliate the brow area
-Avoid applying strong skincare products, exfoliating acids, retinoids, or scrubs directly over the brows
-Avoid heavy brow makeup for the first couple of days when possible
-Try not to sleep directly on your brows
Your brow hairs have undergone a chemical restructuring process during lamination, so treating them gently is important.

Keep Your Brows Conditioned
Hydration is one of the most important parts of maintaining laminated brows.  Once your initial aftercare period has passed, apply a nourishing brow conditioner or approved brow serum regularly to help keep the hairs soft, flexible, and healthy looking.  Avoid allowing laminated brow hairs to become excessively dry or brittle.

Brush and Style Daily
After the first 24-48 hours, gently brush your brows into place each morning with a clean spool.  Your brow lamination doesn't permanently "glue" your hairs into one position.  Instead, it makes the hairs much easier to manipulate and style.  Brush them upward, outward, or into whatever shape you prefer.  If needed, use a small amount of brow gel to your finished shape.

Protect the Skin Around Your Brows
Be cautious when using:
-Retinoids, AHA's, BHA's, exfoliating toners, facial scrubs, and chemical peels
Avoid aggressively working these products directly through your brow hairs, particularly if your brows feel dry or sensitive.

How Long Will My Brow Lamination Last?
Results vary based on your natural hair growth, skincare routine and home care, but a brow lamination can typically remain noticeable for several weeks.  Consistent conditioning = happier brows.

Your Brow Mantra:  Brush.  Condition.  Protect.  Repeat.
